Sukkot Services start at 9:30 AM Come shake a Lulav and Etrog. We'll have one or two to share or bring your own. Kiddush Luncheon following in the Big Tent outside (heaters will be on). The Decorated Sukkah will be available should you prefer. If cool, wear a sweater.

About the event
Sukkot* commemorates the forty-year period during which the Israelites wandered in the desert, living in temporary shelters. The main feature of Sukkot is the construction and use of a sukkah, a temporary hut or booth with a roof made of natural materials such as branches or palm leaves. Observant Jews eat their meals in the sukkah and some even sleep in it during the festival. Sukkot is also known as the Feast of Tabernacles and is a time of joy and celebration, marked by special prayers, blessings, and festive meals.
- Lulav: A palm frond that is one of the Four Species used during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. It is typically bound together with two other species - the hadass (myrtle) and aravah (willow) - and waved in all directions during the holiday prayers.
