About the event
REGISTRATION (RSVP) REQUIRED
Kol Nidre is a prayer that is recited at the beginning of the Yom Kippur service. It is traditionally chanted three times, and its solemn and haunting melody sets the tone for the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. The prayer is a legal formula that annuls vows and promises made to God that could not be fulfilled in the upcoming year. It is meant to provide spiritual release and a fresh start for the individual and the community as they seek forgiveness and atonement on Yom Kippur.
